Anthony Cucci Chapter 7

I actually found this chapter somewhat helpful. There are many times where I feel that the information in the textbook for this class is redundant but I really took some good key points from this chapter. I did not know to use block quote format if a quote is longer than four lines. The advice to read the text and then put it away to write your paraphrase/summary was really helpful. It is hard not to look at the text and basically copy it when it is sitting right next to you while paraphrasing. This point was brought us again when explaining what do during drafting your research paper. The author also mentioned how quotes belong inside of quotes if the quote you are using is structured with quotes. It may seem simple but it has confused me since around ninth grade. To conclude, I am irrationally terrified of accidental plagiarism, among many other things.
