9 Alcoholics at a table
Hernandez and Nees sat together because although they have found some support, they both agree there is not enough evidence to draw conclusions.
Shoemaker and Hermens are next to each other so they can talk about addiction and how alcohol effects memory, especially while using.
Abraham believes that drinking and mental illness coincide a little too much to overlook, Mastefy agrees with Abraham and claims the worst illness is on a college campus. They are discussing similarities in their work.
Witt along with Bourque are on the same side of the table because they are arguing about the long term effects of alcohol, to which neither has concrete evidence.
Everyone is ignoring poor Casey in the middle because he doesn't like to study alcohols effects, he just likes to practice prevention from using it altogether. It may be the more mature view but definitely the less interesting. That's why nobody talks to him.

Captivating title. Well done.
