1. How was your writing process for project 2 different from project 1?
My process was pretty similar in that, I started off with just ideas on a page, then structured them and provided context to them. I think having to use 8 sources definitely changed my direction a bit though because I used sources for particular subjects and had actual data to back up my points this time around.
2. Which drafting stage was more efficient for me?
For me, once I had my first draft done, the final draft was a lot easier to start. There were so many things I could've talked about in my paper that it took a while for me to just narrow down my sub-points. I didn't even get to talk about everything I wanted to discuss. But definitely going from first draft to final was the easiest because that's my structuring and contextual stage.
3. Which project did I enjoy the most and why?
I think I enjoyed project 2 the most, despite the insane word count. I connected with my topic a lot more for project 2 so writing more did not seem like much of a hassle. I usually hate research papers too but it was nice being able to discuss what I wanted to.

I actually ran out of things to talk about in my research paper so it is good you didn't

ReplyDeleteI agree that writing the 2nd draft from the first draft is way easier. I did not have to cut things out like you though.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed project 2 a lot more because I enjoyed what I was talking about.
