Chapter 10 response
Reading this chapter helped clear some things up about what I am doing for this genre project exactly. I think it's really cool that I can use multiple genres in one piece, even differing from serious to not serious. I believe a project like this is a better way to get the point across from my research paper because I can potentially target a lot more viewers. The way in which the book talked about appealing to rhetorics gave me some ideas. I am considering having a funny and serious part of my project in order to appeal to emotion. I'm hoping to also find use for logos and ethos. Overall a multi-genre project seems like a good idea and I am ready to explore using it further.
I respect your opinion, but I disagree with you about this chapter and its ability to "clear things up". I think it was mediocre at that. However, I do agree that multiple genre projects are cool and can bring out a creative side to people.
