1. The author uses many examples of books to show subversion. The author includes books like The ABZ Book, GTFTS (aimed for parents), Good night moon, and many others. An example is hoodwinked and red rising hood. Hoodwinked is a parody of the original red riding hood and was created into a movie. This is a subversion because it is a parody and mocks the original story.
2. GTFTS shows the struggle apparent goes through to put their eager and energetic kid to bed. I believe this book could be targeted for teenagers and adults. This title brings on a comedic point of view but some children should not be exposed to vulgar language at a young age.
