Remix - Bryce Ciaravino

Remixing is a big part of our society today. Some musical artists rely on just remixing other artists to have a career in music. Copyright is a big part of remixing and is becoming more and more of an issue because the laws are becoming so strict. The story when the mom posted a video of her son dancing to price is a perfect example of how little things can go viral and then they get in trouble for it. A $150,000 fine is ridiculous in my opinion. I understand that artists value their work and they need credit if you are going to use their music, but for me I think these laws are getting too strict and people are not going to know what they are allowed to remix or not. Overall, I think it is hurting our society even, but I still think the artist or whoever the copyright belongs too deserves all the credit.
