This really showed me how important it is to consider very subtle things like font when trying to convey genre. Simply changing the font of a phrase can completely change the meaning. This is instrumental in conveying genre because it allows for the write to convey a broader range of emotions in their writing. Things like the positioning of text and the font size of words can convey different genres.
I didn't think about it this way, it is such a small little difference that can change the meaning of a whole work. I also agree with it being instrumental in conveying different genres.
