The steps to assembling a multigene project are pretty
simple, and generic. And I believe these steps can be used for multiple types
of projects, not just multigene projects. But some keys things that would help
all projects and especially this one is furthering your purpose and reaching
your audience. Both of these are harder in a multi gene project because you
have multiple platforms where you have to show your purpose and reach you audience.
And if you don’t reach your audience, or show your purpose, in just one of the genre
you have failed the project because they all need to. Something is also
reminded us of it using rhetorical appeals to your advantage. The examples also
helped and put it in perspective from each genre.
I never even thought about using these steps for other projects. I did notice it reminded students about using rhetorical appeals.
ReplyDeleteI agree with where you say that not conveying even one genre in the project means that you failed the project because they all need to be understood by the audience.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the fact that furthering your purpose and reaching your audience are very important things. Multigenre projects make that point even more important because it has to be done in multiple ways effectively.
ReplyDeleteIt is true that reaching your audience is important in all projects and not just this one. It is so important because if you effectively reach your audience in a way where they can connect with you, then that makes your job of persuading them so much easier.
