I think that this group of readings was very interesting. Looking at each case, it is amazing to see the lengths that people go to to protect their work. Copyright laws are every serious and are necessary. However, if someone isn't looking to make money from a remix, such as the first case with the mom and baby, I don't really see a problem. Her intention was just to entertain people and she shouldn't have to request permission from the company to play Prince's music. One could avoid copyright on an image if they substantially change at least three items on the image. I think that adding something like this to music would be beneficial and would promote more creativity.
