1. Some examples of subversion are:

- The Gashlycrumb
One Movie that could be subversive is the breakfast club because it pokes at authority and changes our views/ perspectives of teens and why they act the way they do.
Another one could be Animal House, where it deconstructs the the idea of jocks are the good guys coming from wealthy, white families and fat drunk kids are the mess ups.
2. I think GTFTS is really funny looking at how my mom probably felt just like their parents and how they grew so frustrated with me. I also think it would be a good book if it was turned around, where the parents had to wake up the kids for school named WTFU. But I think the target audience would be parents, or adult baby sitters because they would know first hand and understand the humor involved.

I don't see the Breakfast Club as a subversion but your explanation made it a little clearer.
