According to Yang, this study was created to ''test differences among three language groups with different second language proficiency levels to find out whether bilingualism grants any WM advantage."  Yang states that the results "suggested that bilingual children have more efficient information management skills than monolingual children."  He concludes that more than one language serves as mental language and that bilinguals' advantage can be population-specific.
