This research article is used to show the prevalence of the high suicidal rate for prisons in the french Guinean prison. This is an analytical article and it shows the results of new prisoners from September 2013 to December 2014. The study showed that 13.2% had a suicidal risks and of those 13.2%; 14% of those were at a very high risk. The main factors of the suicide rate are depression, dysthymia, and panic disorder. This is a considerably low suicide rate compared to other prison's and also the French mainland. The importance of this study is to make people more aware and try to help people who deal with depression and other suicidal causes.
