I found this chapter very informative because I have not had to write a research paper before. You should to first brainstorm topics or do a simple research on topics. Find things that you want to write about that you find interesting. Then listing out topics and start researching. I tend to just go with the topic that I find the most interesting and that I can talk about. After you have to come up with questions that you want to ask. Final you need to choose a research question. The author informs us that you will have to use key terms when searching up your topic. With reading the examples in the book it was easier to think of a topic. One of the most important steps is to include a bibliography or works cited page.
