I believe there are too many examples on simple things like researching topics and trying to find information about your topic. It also describes how to make sure the information you’re reading is academic which means we wasted a whole class on library day for something the books describe within a few pages looking at one example.  Onto your proposal, which shouldn’t be included because it is very trivial. Once you pick your topic and see if there is enough information you look at a narrower view point that involves asking a question without a yes or no answer. But one thing I found helpful reading the rest of this chapter was doing a working bibliography. I usually just find all my sources at the end and put them together last, which is very difficult and annoying, but if you list these sources as you find them and use them I think it will make the writing process much easier and will make constructing your annotated bibliography easier.
