Bryce Ciaravino Shitty First Drafts

When I read shitty first drafts, I thought it was very eye-opening and will be a very useful text to keep in mind when writing my essays. When i would write just one draft and turn it in, it would have many mistakes and i would not catch them. The more drafts i write, i find the better the overall paper tends to be in the end. Writing a shitty first draft helps writers block and helps the flow of ideas also. When i first am sitting down to write an essay i will often run out of ideas and start talking about random ideas that are not directly related to the topic, but just to get to the word count. This is why i think shitty first drafts is a good article to read before every essay to remind me it's okay to have a bunch of terrible drafts before i get to the final product.
