It surprised me because the article really showed me how intricate the peer review process is, and how you can employ many different methods to get a successful peer review. I found it interesting how the author said that comments should me bade so that are clearly visible (I guess that's why we double space papers). By double spacing I presume, we are allowed to have room fore annotation. The review on the paper should be unbiased and sincere is also what I took from this.

1 What are your goals really stuck out to me because it showed me as a Reader what i needed to look out for when annotating a paper. This segment also taught me to do it in such a way that was efficient and to the point.
2. Where to put your comments also stuck out. I learned that I should place comments in a clearly visible location so that the author could see my corrections more clearly.

I have reviewed many papers in the past and all of them have been positive and learning experiences. I have both learned what to fix in my papers, while also helping others.
